The Fourth World Khmer-Krom Youth conference was held on April 24, 2010 at Wat Khmer Suriyarangsey Philadelphia, USA. It was an event anticipated with great participation and enthusiasm amongst all Khmer-Krom youths from around the globe. Voices of Khmer-Krom youth were represented came from Cambodia, Australia, New Zealand, the European countries, Canada, and the USA either in person or electronically.
The Khmers Kampuchea-Krom Federation (KKF) Board of Directors, the local associations of Khmer-Krom and Khmer-Krom Buddhist society in Philadelphia and New Jersey also showed up to support the conference. This year’s conference was more special than previous sessions with guest appearances from former monks, Tim Sakhorn, Kim Moeun, and Danh Tol. All three individuals were recently imprisoned in Vietnam for exercising human rights activities. Ms. Maggie Murphy, UNPO representative was also a special guest.
